A year long process, youth (usually 7th and 8th graders) meet to talk about who God is, where God is, how we can experience God and love others. With retreats and service days scattered throughout the fall and winter and a few classes on Sunday mornings during the spring, students learn about God and about loving and serving others. All are welcome to join the classes--you don’t have to be a ‘church member.’ The only requirement is a willingness to learn and ask questions.
At the end of the year, students write a faith statement about what they believe and decide if they would like to become full members of our community. Some do and some don’t. But all leave knowing more about God and experiencing God’s love.
