Broad Street Presbyterian Church

Sunday Worship 8:45 and 11:00 AM

Music

"Music is the shape and form of the invisible."

~ Leonardo da Vinci

Making music enriches lives and draws the congregation closer to God. At Broad Street Church there are many opportunities for children and adults to make music together singing, ringing, playing. All are welcome!
Learn more about Director of Music Joel Mathias.

For the 8:45 weekly worship, the congregation is accompanied by piano.

For the 11 a.m. weekly worship, Broad Street Organist Jim Hildreth accompanies the choir and offers a repertoire from ancient to contemporary during 10-minute preludes and improvised postludes.

The Broadstreet Choir was founded in 1934 by Herbert Huffman, who, in 1937, also founded the Columbus Boy Choir, now the American Boychoir in Princeton, N.J. Today, the Broadstreet Choir rehearses Thursday evenings from 7:15 to 9:00 with childcare provided. Our music program also includes a choir for children (Celebration Singers) and an adult handbell choir and occasional instrumentalists.
