Day Three - Pittsburgh Project July 20, 2011
Hello all!
Today was a great day at the Pittsburgh Project. We asked everyone to give one sentence of reflection on the day.
Jane: Margaret and Meg built a garden. It was really pretty and colorful!
Mary: The interaction between the family that we worked with and us was great. They trusted us to do what we wanted.
Peggy: I enjoyed learning French from David on the porch.
Anna: It was nice getting paint all over me and in my hair.
Rick: The men working at the car shop across the street let us use extra stones that were not needed anymore.
Sarah: I enjoyed singing Matisyahu at the worksite with everyone and teaching country music to my fellow group members.
Meg: Margaret and I went running in the graveyard today, and tried to find Sarah and Anna, who were hiding. It was 96 degrees!
Margaret: We got to go to Home Depot and pick out some flowers for The Moore family. It was a great feeling when Mrs. Moore said they were “beautiful.”
David: Someone puked in the pool today! We had to leave.
Zyg: I was cut today by tile and bled!!!!
Ann: It was heart- warming to me that the neighbor introduced herself and offered to help us.
Much love,
The Pittsburgh Project group
