Sunday Worship 8:45 and 11:00 AM
There are many ways to ask questions and learn more about faith, love, and following Jesus. At BSPC, we discover Common Connections, which provide support and bring people together around similar questions. If you would like to participate in any of these groups, please let us know!
Rules: 1. It's Friday night and you're with friends: relax! 2. Bring $5 to share pizza. 3. It helps if you've read the book. Pizza & Prose meets one Friday evening each month. We read prose and poetry, fiction and non-fiction, trying to connect our faith with what we read. We're a laid back group that always welcomes folks--even if you haven't read the book! The Seekers' Group gathers the first Wednesday evening of each month at the Nusken home. Meeting September through May, the group engages in conversation on current theologial issues using a variety of resources (dvd's, poetry, books, news articles, etc.). Cookies, coffee, and tea contribute to the informal ambience of this lively group. All are welcome. Betty Lou Stull is the coordinator for this group.
Dine with Nine began about 20 years ago as an opportunity for singles and couples to get to know one another over a series of shared meals.
We sign up to participate twice a year, like two semesters. There is an organizational pot luck dinner in September and another in February. At the pot luck dinner, we learn of and sit with our new group to plan for the next four months. The groups then are shuffled for the next semester to enhance our opportunity to meet and learn about more people. If you are not able to attend the pot luck, sign up anyway. Your group will see that you are included. If you are not able to host nine people, never fear, many groups go out for dinner or a brunch together.
The goal is to make new friends, and enhance our knowledge of each other while spending enjoyable time together. Our next pot luck is scheduled for Wednesday, September 21, 2011. Sign up sheets will be in the Narthex in September prior to the 21st.
