A Walk Around the Church

(click on the pictures to expand the photo)

The original Broad Street Presbyterian Church building built in 1888 on the northeast corner of Garfield Avenue and West Broad Street.  The sanctuary occupies this corner of the building.  These entrances facing Broad Street are no longer used.

Still on Broad Street the camera is now pointed toward the west to show the community services wing were the BSPC supported Food Pantry, COMPASS and BITC programs are housed.   On the right of the photo can be seen the edge of the Broad Street Garden.

The Broad Street Garden on the northwest corner of Monroe and West Broad Streets.  The Broad Street Garden is used in the summer for church functions including its Jazz-in-the-Park series.

The north side of the  church from the parking lot looking south.  This is now the main entrance that takes you into the Office/Sunday School wing with a large Narthex on the first floor.  The Broad Street Garden is just to the left of the community services wing.

The wing to the right of the main entrance houses Palmer Hall on the first floor and the choir practice room on the second floor.  This wing was part of the original building.  Garfield Avenue is on the right.
