Session Report - December 2007   

At its December session meeting: 

• Enjoyed dinner and met jointly with the Board of Deacons as is required annually by The Book of  Order;

• Heard a report of the Pastor Nominating Committee’s work to date;

• Heard an update on the 2008 Stewardship Campaign;

• Approved two recommendations from the Finance Council to

  (1) form a new Sustainability Task Force charged with recommending to Session changes in our annual operations to align spending with giving; and

  (2) to distribute information to the congregation and to request congregational ideas; and

• Approved upcoming youth fundraisers to support the  intergenerational summer work trips.
